A Single Network

The Cisco Integrated Services Router connects your offices to the Internet, and to your other offices. At each office, the Cisco router connects to a Cisco Catalyst® switch, which networks together all your telephones, application and e-mail servers, wireless devices, and security systems

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition, Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express, and the Smart Business Communication System provide these basic phone features, along with hundreds of others, to let you run your phone system on your company network.

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express, is a part of the router software called Cisco IOS® Software. Depending on the router you install, you can have up to 240 IP phones on your company network.
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition, brings together voice, video, mobility, and messaging on a single platform and eliminates the need for multiple servers to run each application. It is designed for businesses with up to 500 employees and up to five remote sites.
  • The Cisco Smart Business Communications System, is an affordable, complete system that extends voice, data, video, and wireless networking to small and medium-sized offices.
  • To further protect your calls, Cisco has developed Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST). Cisco Unified SRST can take over call processing at one of your branch offices if needed, so your phone system stays up and running.

Feature-Rich Voicemail

Cisco voicemail helps your staff manage their messages better, so they can respond more quickly and be more productive inside and outside the office. They can pick up voicemail by phone, or on their PDA or laptop. And with unified messaging, they can receive voicemail and even faxes as e-mail attachments, using Microsoft Exchange or IBM Lotus Notes. Cisco offers you several different options for voicemail:

  • Cisco Unity® Express provides built-in voicemail, integrated messaging, and automated attendant services for small businesses. VoiceView Express lets you scroll through voice messages using your phone display.
  • Cisco Unity Connection delivers voice messaging, integrated messaging, speech recognition, and call-routing rules for companies with up to 3000 users.
  • Cisco Unity Unified Messaging offers voicemail, integrated messaging and unified messaging and intelligent voice messaging for larger organizations.

Video Communications

With Cisco Unified Communications, adding video to your communications is as easy as placing a phone call. Instead of spending time and money to travel to remote offices, you can have face-to-face conversations with your colleagues, customers, and business partners.

  • Cisco Unified Video Advantage adds video to your communications experience by providing video telephony features to your calls.
