Overview

Overview

Cisco stand will be located at Z-B40, Za'abeel Gulfcomms Hall.

Cisco will also be present with partner Lancope C1-11 in the Networking and Security Area.

This year we are participating in the 35th Anniversary edition of Gitex Technology Week with an expanded and focused presence.

Cisco will showcase how implementing a digitization strategy will enable Middle East countries and organizations to reap the full benefits of the Internet of Things (IoT) today and the new era of Internet of Everything (IoE) in the future.

Cisco will demo ‘real life’ Smart City scenarios including a full demo of an augmented reality city as well as a government transportation demo. Other areas of the stand will showcase the key business architectures and solutions that will be important for digital transformation including Security, Cloud, Data Center and Virtualization, Mobility and Collaboration.

Another major focus for Cisco during GITEX 2015 will be cyber security. With security issues surrounding the Internet now the number 1 priority in the digital era, more and more organizations in the Middle East are increasingly seeing the value of adopting an end to end security approach that is as pervasive as the Internet of Everything (IoE) itself.

Cisco will also use the platform to demonstrate how these technologies are and will play an increasingly important role in improving the quality of life, not just for upcoming generations, but for everyone today.

Kind regards,
Rabih Dabboussi
General Manager, Cisco UAE

Intel

For the past 47 years, Intel has been pioneering microprocessor technology for the modern world, setting the wheels in motion for technology advancements every person on earth relies on every day, making the impossible possible

Today, Intel provides the essential technologies to make all things smart and connected. Nearly 40% of Intel's revenue is now associated with products beyond the PC. A smart evolution is underway that continues to accelerate as Intel technologies shape an era when everything computes and connects from automobiles and vending machines to automated factories and cities. What is important beyond how Intel technology makes life simpler, easier and convenient is how it will be used to help heal, educate, empower and sustain the planet.

As microprocessor technology continues to get smaller and more powerful due to Moore's law, the scale and potential for IA technology is endless. Already at the heart of more than 90% of the world's servers Intel processors are trusted engines of the expanding infrastructure for cloud computing, big data, IoT to client computing and wearables: if it computes it does it best with Intel Inside.

Intel is creating this world with R&D and manufacturing in high tech, state-of-the-art facilities around the globe. With the needs of both people and environment in mind, Intel factories produced in 2013 the world's 1st microprocessors verified conflict free for certain minerals and not inadvertently supporting conflicts in the Congo. More than a million chips making computing and connecting faster, more flexible and secure are produced every day by Intel factories.
