Cisco launches TREC in Saudi Arabia

An industry first vertical specialty solution dedicated to the fast-growing Tourism, Real Estate and Construction (TREC) sectors

Riyadh, March 4, 2007 – Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, announced today the launch of TREC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. TREC is designed to address increasing demand for intelligence in network infrastructure from the tourism, real estate and construction sectors.

The TREC framework is based upon the convergence of network infrastructure and building systems onto a single Internet Protocol (IP) environment. It harnesses the power of IP to transform building construction and management.
