Cisco Systems Wins Network Management Award at Comex 2005

Muscat, April 28, 2005 – Cisco Systems, was yesterday (Wednesday, 27 April 2005) awarded 'Best Networking and Network Management Award' at COMEX 2005 (Oman's IT and Telecom Expo) held from 25-29, April 2005 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The award instituted by the organisers of COMEX 2005, was given in recognition of Cisco Systems' significant contributions at providing the Sultanate with end-to-end networking solutions for seamless and secure network connectivity in the private as well the public sector.

Commenting on the award, Ghazi Atallah, General Manager, Cisco Systems said, "Cisco is the world leader in providing best-in-class solutions for networking.

The award is a recognition and an endorsement of our cutting edge solutions by the visitors to COMEX 2005. The award was received by Iyad Alchammat, Territory Manager, Oman for Cisco Systems Middle East. COMEX is one the largest-of-its-kind event in the Oman attracting over 200 exhibitors from around the world. The exhibition is meeting place for the movers and shakers of IT and Telecom industry, stimulating local and regional trade in high technology.
