Cisco Systems Targets Oman ICT Sector With Advanced Networking Solutions

Company announces participation in COMEX 2005 to be held in Muscat

Muscat, April 24, 2005 – Cisco Systems, today announced its participation in COMEX 2005 (Oman's IT and Telecom Expo), to be held from 25-28, April 2005 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

Announcing the participation, Ghazi Atallah, General Manager, Cisco Systems Middle East said, "Oman is developing world class IT infrastructure in its etransformation drive. COMEX is one the largest-of-its-kind event in the Sultanate attracting over 200 exhibitors from around the world. Currently in its 15th year, the exhibition has evolved into a meeting place for the IT and Telecom industry, stimulating local and regional trade in high technology in sectors like Oil and Gas, Retail, Health, Manufacturing, Logistics and Distribution, Banking and Finance, Public Sector, Education and Training, Utilities, Tourism and Media.

Visitors to the show will also be benefited by a live demonstration of Cisco's powerful Self Defending Network (SDN).
