The Cisco IOS Security Lab walks you through the latest Cisco IOS Security features that prevent and respond to network and application layer attacks, and enable secure and scalable network connectivity. The lab provides configuration exercises with four major features. GET VPN is an MPLS VPN solution that does not require traditional point-to-point tunnels. IPS AIM is an AIM module for Cisco Integrated Services Router that provides features at par with Cisco's industry-leading IPS appliances. Zone-Based Firewall configures firewall service on a router in an intuitive, more flexible zone-based model. Content filtering blocks or restricts access to certain Websites based on keywords and offers protection from malware through reputation-based services.

Este laboratorio de seguridad lo guiará através de las últimas funcionalidades de seguridad del IOS, para prevenir y responder a ataques en las capas de red y aplicaciones, y habilitar conectividad de red segura y escalable. El laboratorio incluye ejercicios de configuración con 4 funcionalidades: GET VPN, IPS AIM, ZoneBased Firewall y filtrado de contenido. GET VPN es una solución basada en MPLS VPN solution que no requiere los tradicionales túneles punto a punto. . IPS AIM es un módulo AIM para el ISR que ofrece funcionalidates a la par de dispositivos dedicados a hacer funciones de IPS. Zone-Based Firewall permite configurar servicios de firewall de forma intuitiva y flexible. Y finalmente el filtrado de contenido bloquea o restringe el acceso a ciertas páginas o URLS basado en palabras clave y ofrece protección de malware.

Cisco Unified Client Experience Lab |
Cisco is focused on providing the tools needed by today’s highly distributed, mobile, and empowered global workforce. This lab will deliver the user client experience, demonstrate the applications and integrations that help to eliminate the barriers of communication and collaboration. In this client lab, the attendee will configure and run through the desktop client solution from a user's perspective. The Cisco Unified Client solutions include the following Cisco clients:
- Cisco Unified IP Communicator (CIPC)
- Cisco Unified Personal Communicator (CUPC)
- Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator (CUMC)
- Cisco WebEx Connect
- Integration with UC Applications and Third-Party Client
- Cisco Unified Communications Widgets (i.e., Visual Voicemail, Click to Call, and Phone Designer)
The lab will also provide an introduction and overview of the new Cisco Unified Service Framework.
