Attend, win, and gain visibility among potential employers

Several market studies have predicated a shortage of 100,000 networking technicians to fill available positions in Latin America by 2010. Cisco Networking Academy NetRiders is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and gain visibility among talent recruiters in the growing ICT and networking field.

This is the first year that this competition will take place in the entire Latin American region. It's been organized by Cisco to present an opportunity for all Latin American and Caribbean Networking Academy students to participate in a valuable learning experience with peers and friends from other countries.

The NetRiders 2009 competition is divided in three phases, each phase will have a winner and individual prizes.

Prizes and recognitions for all winners:

• Winners will receive valuable Cisco Linksys products

• The top 20 competitors from each country will be ranked on the NetRiders site, which can be viewed by employers

• The top three competitors from the region will win a one-week trip to Silicon Valley, along with the winners from all over the world

Students at all academic levels will have an opportunity to showcase their skills through online tests that simulate real-world situations. If you are a Networking Academy student with an active Academy Connection account, you are eligible to participate.
