Cisco Learning Network Japan is running a campaign where you will have a chance to win a CCIE R&S written exam voucher (our first time offering this campaign!) or Cisco branded prizes.
You can register for the campaign by answering a simple questionnaire.

Launch of CCNP Service Provider Certification
The CCNP Service Provider (CCNP SP) has just been launched.
Completion of the CCNP SP certification requires four exams.

Retirement of CCIP Certification
Beginning October 29, 2012 (PST), the professional-level Cisco Service Provider certification, CCIP, will be retired and Cisco will no longer issue new certifications.
BGP, MPLS, and BGP+MPLS exams will also be retired.
CCNA Certification Authorized for Certified qualifications for IPv6 operators
CCNA certification is authorized as one of the examinations for A - Certified qualifications for IPv6 operators.
The IPv6 Promotion Council and Japan Approvals Institute for Telecommunications Equipment (JATE) manage the qualifications program by setting compliance standards for private learning curriculums, based on the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ guidelines.
The IPv6 Promotion Council and JATE examine the development and execution of business level training curriculum requirements, aiming to systemize and publicize the knowledge applied to networking integration in the IPv6 age.
