The Cisco Customer Contact Business Unit (CCBU) is pleased to announce the extension of the Cisco Unified Contact Center Express with Cisco Unified CallManager bundle offer. This promotion has been extended from February 28, 2007 to February 29, 2008, so now you have more time to take advantage of this great offer.

This promotional offer provides all new orders of Cisco Unified CallManager 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 5.0 and 5.1 with five seats of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express Edition 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5 Standard (Cisco Unified Contact Center Express release provided is dependant on the CallManager release ordered). This bundle promotion enables Cisco Unified CallManager customers to experience the customer care capabilities of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express.

For all new Cisco Unified CallManager orders shipped between now and February 29, 2008, this promotion offers entitlements and licensing for Cisco Unified Contact Center Express Standard software, including five licensed seats (agents and/or supervisors), CDs, documentation, and all other items normally shipped with these products.

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express Bundle

Small and mid-sized businesses and branch offices of larger organizations can now take advantage of the latest functions and easy-to-use Internet-based telephony package that handles all their voice and data requirements.

The first of its kind, the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express integrates a core set of key system and small PBX functions with a wide variety of voice features inside the Cisco multi-service and integrated services routers. By putting voice and data onto one platform, the Unified Communications Manager Express streamlines operations and lowers network costs, while increasing employee productivity.

This powerful software is available to customer with 240 users or fewer, who owns or is planning to buy the Cisco 2800 and 3800 Integrated Services Routers. The Unified Communications Manager Express can be deployed by the customer directly, or via the service provider's managed services.

Cisco Unified Unified Communications Manager Express provides the following benefits:

  • Cost-effective, converged data and voice solution inside Cisco Integrated Services Routers 2800 and 3800
  • Key system/small PBX features plus innovative convergence applications for up to 240 users

The cost-effective telephony solution is suitable for firms that have multiple sites or that have to deal with numerous partners and customers, such as those in retail and financial services.

Promotion Period

From now till end-July 2007, Cisco is also offering enhanced memory storage for the 3800 Series Integrated Services Router Secure Voice bundles (VSEC), with upgrades to default memory from 256MB to 512MB and Compact Flash from 64MB to 128MB. This upgrade alone is worth US $2,400.

A 36-seat Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express License is also included in the base VSEC offering (C3825-VSEC/K9 & C3845-VSEC/K9). This enhancement is worth an additional US $1,000.

The total value of these upgrades and enhancements are worth US $3,400, but there will be no price change to the whole bundle.

The 3800 Series provide flexibility for additional services with the use of incremental network module slots, enhanced scalability and performance.
