B Raghavendran is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Sales Organization in Cisco India & SAARC. As COO he will oversee ongoing business operations within the company and help in creating operations strategy and policies in line with the company’s business goals.
As COO he will also direct, administer, and coordinate the internal operational activities of various business units that include Sales, operations, human resources, personnel and finance.
In his earlier role, Raghu lead Cisco’s partner organization in India and helped create partner practices to drive scale and revenue growth for Cisco while maintaining profitable growth for partners.
Raghu is a 17 year Cisco veteran who has essayed a number of roles across sales, strategy and channel operations. His deep understanding of the partner ecosystem and the field are a perfect combination to enable Cisco to become the partner of choice.
Raghu joined Cisco India in 1998 as an Account Manager for the company's banking and financial services vertical where he played a key role in achieving several strategic wins for Cisco India. He also led the IT Services vertical in the North and West region where he grew the business significantly.
Raghu has a Bachelor of Engineering degree and enjoys playing football among other sports.
