With WiFi location-tracking and zone control solutions, movable and valuable medical equipment carrying a RFID tag can easily be monitored and located. LUCAS further enhance these solutions by integrating them with Cisco IPUC. If any valuable equipment or an infant patient has been removed from a pre-defined zone or into a restricted area, LUCAS bridges the zone control alarms and location information to designated IP phones triggering immediate attention of nurses and/or security forces.
