i-Services Solution - Real Time Information & Services via IP Phone System

FCS i-Services is an XML dynamic IP Phone Application that sits on top of the Cisco IP Phone, provide custom guest profile in multiple languages and display hotel services and live data from the website for Guest usage.


i-Services brings state-of-the-art technology to voice communication and data solutions by integrating guest portfolio with the Hotel unique services of the IP Phones. i-Services, with Cisco IP Phone, delivers a wide range of unique functions that is not possible without dynamic XML applications.


The following are key unique features that personalized a Guest's stay at the hotel and ensure the guest experience at the hotel is well catered to:

  1. Allow multiple languages to be displayed for all functions allowed on the applications
  2. Allow Hotel to display data as Graphics for friendly usage of the system
  3. Greet the guest upon check in their name and language by a personalized message from the hotel
  4. Estimated call charges for Guest to avoid any disputes regarding calls made
  5. Allow hotels to display ads and specially promotions on a rotational mode for internal venue or others entity for additional revenue stream
  6. Easy Guest communications outside of the hotel with IDD assistance, speed dial, and How -To guide menu which reduced printing cost and incorrect data from out dated print materials
  7. Allow guest to setup DND and Auto-Wake-Calls directly on the IP Phone application
  8. Allow Staff to login and update Room-Status and Mini-Bar expenses to be posted live to the Property Management System (PMS) or Front Office System (FOS)
  9. Allow Hotel to post static information like currency exchange rate or local data
  10. Allow Guest to retrieve live data from the Web like stock quotes, news, flight information and weather
  11. If the hotel has install e-Connect, Guest can by-pass the Call Center and request service items like adaptor and etc.
  12. Allow Guest to login onto a website to customize their phone upon arrival at the hotel for profile pictures, speed dial, stock quotes and etc.
  13. Allow Hotel to display Hotel restaurants and bar and allow reservations without talking to anyone
  14. Allow hotel to obtain Guests' feedback regarding their experience and stay at the hotel via a quick and fun Survey
  15. Display an international digital alarm clock with no time zone restriction as it enables the phone to display a digital clock with up to 4 different time zone


Note : some features are dependent upon hotel PMS system and/or FCS UBIS and e-Connect system


This solution can replace additional panels required to offer all the services above and move the hotel's image into the advanced technology sector.


i-Services incorporates the API (Application Programming Interface) adapters that can be customized to connect to the hotel existing database, applications and/or web based services. With i-Services, each center of operation, department or room of the hotel equipped with IP phone will help to minimize operational cost as well as reducing resource intensive functions. This new technology of the IP phone coupled with other FCS Guest DynamiX portfolio like the FCS UBIS, e-Connect, and others will be more than just a simple dial-tone terminal; they become an integrated part of the hotel guest data access point providing ultimate service solution.
