Pierre has been with Cisco since August 1999. During this period Pierre acquired Cisco experience across both services as well as product selling. During his Professional Services career he accumulated services related knowledge and experience in the Wire line and ISP verticals.
Pierre then moved on as Global Services Account Manager Enterprise where he obtained experience in developing new go-to-markets into the Financing and Manufacturing markets.
In accordance with his ambitious and entrepreneurial style , Pierre then became Sales Account Manager in Cisco France for large Retail accounts.
Before joining Cisco, Pierre worked three years for Astrium (Space Industry) on two telecom satellites projects with customers Worldspace (US) and Astra (Luxemburg). Prior to that, he started his career in the defense industry working three years on counter measure systems at Matra BAe Dynamics for the French Ministry of Defense. The satellite experience will be of particular use to position IP over VSAT for e-Government in Africa.
He holds a Master Engineering Degree from SUPELEC 1993 (France) and a Master of Business Administration degree from I.A.E 1999 (France).
In addition he holds a number of certificates:Economics Sciences in Pantheon Sorbonne University (France), International Management in Cranfield School of Business (UK).
Pierre and his family are based in Dakar, Senegal.
