1. Role Profile


With Cisco’s Unified Communications Solution, Cisco is not only entering the market of classical PBXs. With the new Solution set Cisco wants to change the way how we communicate in business in a better and effective way.

In order to achieve this goal Cisco is searching for professionals who have a deep understanding of the communications market in the enterprise area. The role of the Product Sales Specialist combines leadership, market- and technology knowledge with highly professional sales- and project management skills.

Responsible for a different set of customers, you will be the key person together with the related Account Manager to drive Cisco’s success in the Unified Communication area for these specific customers.

Therefore you will work very closely with the Account team, but also with other departments in the channels, consultants and technical organisation, if necessary even with product development. You will be also in a consultant role, consulting the account team, how to best organize and manage the sales campaign. Key challenge will be to orchestrate the entire engaged resources including external partners, to build the best designed and useful solution for your customers and to outperform your competition.

Next to customer meetings and presentations you organize in the background all related efforts, communicate requirements to all involved parties and tie all people together to build a winning team.

In addition to that you will be the go to person, as a member of a team of specialists, who will keep market knowledge, sales strategies for unified communications, prepare presentations, run marketing campaigns and educate the sales and partner organisation.


2. Role Requirements


As this is a senior sales positions you will bring the following abilities with you :

  • deep knowledge and several years sales experience in the German voice market especially as a salesperson to Enterprise Customers from a key PBX vendor
  • track record of won projects + 1000 Phone Systems and in Application selling
  • proven leadership skills, as you will have to manage virtual teams
  • strong communication and presentation skills in German and in English
