SMB Select is a new World Wide designation for partners selling to SMBs. There is a huge opportunity for both you and Cisco in the Small and Medium Business (SMB) sector. An opportunity for growth and increased revenues over the long term from relationships built on knowledge, trust and understanding.
The Small and Medium-Sized Business (SMB) Select Partner designation is designed to recognize Cisco channel partners who have a focused business practice selling into the SMB market, defined as companies that have fewer than 250 users. The majority of SMBs rely on their channel partner for IT purchases, and especially for networking. The SMB Select Partner designation helps demonstrate to customers that your organization understands and supports networking solutions for small and medium sized customers, and will help differentiate you from other resellers.
Cisco will provide SMB Select Partners with a tailored set of dedicated sales and support services and other incentives. Customers will also be able to easily identify SMB Select Partners using the Cisco Partner Locator. SMB Select Partners will be able to identify their organization as "XYZ Company is a Designated Cisco SMB Select Partner" on their business cards and other marketing materials. SMB Select Partners will benefit by having access to a portfolio of SMB-focused sales and marketing resources designed to help increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

To qualify for the SMB Select Partner designation, partners must be a Registered Cisco partner in Canada and meet specific program qualification criteria requirements in the areas of training, sales volume, and sales mix. Status as a SMB Select Partner is valid for 12 months and must be renewed annually.
