Instructor Training

Cisco Academy Training Centres

Each Cisco Academy Training Centre (CATC) trains, and supports the instructors at the Regional Academy level. Each CATC is responsible for the quality of training conducted at its centre and the subsequent instructional qualities of the Regional Academy instructors, who train Local Academy instructors. Along with Cisco, CATC's set the standard of quality for the entire Networking Academy Program system.

There are three CATC's in Canada (listed below). Each CATC offers instructor training for all curricula modules available to Academies in Canada.

The Cisco certification exams are hosted by the Cisco Testing Delivery Partners Pearson VUE or Thomson Prometric.

Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) certification, available through Cisco Networking academy Program, denotes the Instructor’s proficiency in delivering the instruction required to support the diverse needs of a Cisco Networking Academy classroom. For more details on how to become CCAI certified contact your CATC.

For more details about instructor training, refer to Instructor Training Guidelines.
