Co-op SupportCo-operative education combines academic study with practical experience. In recent years, this rich learning experience has become very popular because it helps students develop the work habits, attitudes and job skills necessary to move from a secondary school to the workplace or to a post-secondary education. The Toronto District School Board has graciously allowed us to post the co-operative education guidelines created for the schools in the Toronto area. These guidelines explain how co-op programs work and are designed to assist educators in carrying out responsibilities related to a co-op education program. Included is a Supervisor's Manual and Co-operative Education brochure directed to members of the community. We hope you will find them to be a valuable reference source, particularly if you are considering introducing a co-op education program in your area.
