David Jansen

David Jansen, CCIE No. 5952 (Routing/Switching) is a Technical Solutions Architect for Cisco specialising in Data Centre architectures. He has 21 years of experience in the industry and has held certifications from Novell, VMware, Microsoft, TOGAF and Cisco. His focus is working with enterprise customers to address their challenges with comprehensive end-to-end Data Centre architectures.  David has been with Cisco for 14 years and working as a Solution Architect for over 7 years has provided unique experiences in building these types of solutions.   EDUCATION 1995 Bachelor of  Science of Engineering degree in Computer Science, University of Michigan.  2006  Master of Arts degree in Adult Education, Central Michigan University.

David is co-author of the Cisco Press book, NX-OS and Cisco Nexus Switching: Next-Generation Data Centre Architectures.

Johannes Krohn

Johannes Krohn joined Cisco Systems in Germany in 2000. In his over 15 years of experience in the networking and telecommunication industry he worked in several IT companies gaining knowledge in engineering, system design and technologies from ATM to multiprotocol networking. In the last ten years he mainly focussed on IP Telephony, collaboration solutions and Unified Communications. As Technical Marketing Engineer working on Collaboration System Architectures he provides design guidance in key projects and is responsible to transferring new product information of Cisco Collaboration Solutions internally and externally. As part of the continuous development cycle he is providing input to the system level planning of future solutions. He holds a CCIE Voice.

Darrin Miller

Darrin Miller is an engineer in Cisco's security technology group. Darrin is responsible for system level security architecture. Darrin has worked primarily on policy based admission, incident response, and next generation architectures within Cisco. Previous to joining the security technology group Darrin was a security researcher with focus in the areas of Identity, NAC, TrustSec, IPv6, SCADA, incident response and trust models. This work has included protocol security analysis and security architectures for next generation networks. Darrin has authored and contributed to several books and whitepapers on the subject of network security. Darrin has also spoken around the world at leading network security conferences on a variety of topics. Prior to his 12 years at Cisco, Darrin held various positions in the network security community.

Victor Moreno

Victor Moreno, is a Technical Leader at Cisco Systems responsible for the definition of next generation virtualisation and routing protocols and architectures for the NX-OS Network Operating System. Victor has more than 15 years of industry experience focused on enterprise and Data Centre design and architecture. Victor is a recognised expert in the field of virtual enterprise networks and holds several patents that are at the foundation of the key protocols and networking technologies that enable network virtualisation and cloud connectivity. He has worked directly with major customers and designs worldwide and has done extensive research on the topic of virtualisation, being a driving force within Cisco and earlier Digital Equipment Corporation for new product definition and technological direction. Victor is the co-author of the Cisco Press title: Network Virtualisation and has published a multitude of technical papers and articles on behalf of Cisco Systems. Victor holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Simon Bolivar University, as well as Master Degrees and Specialisations from the Universities of York, Cambridge and Stanford.

Andrew Myles

Andrew Myles received his BSc in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics in 1984 and his BE in Electrical Engineering in 1986, both from the University of Sydney, and his PhD from Macquarie University, Australia in 1995. He has had a diverse career, having worked in corporate research labs (Hewlett Packard Labs), university research labs (Macquarie University), management consulting (Arthur D Little & PA Consulting) and a technology start-up (Radiata). Dr Myles is currently the Manager of Wireless Standards at Cisco Systems, mainly focusing on standards and certification work within the IEEE 802.11 Working Group and the Wi-Fi Alliance. Dr Myles was the Chairman of the Wi-Fi Alliance from 2006-2011 and is currently a Director. He is also the Chairman of the IEEE 802 JTC1 Ad-Hoc Committee, and a US National Body representative to ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6.

Troy Sherman

Troy is currently working in Enterprise Collaboration Platform team as the Social Network Security Architect. This role involves working on securing both network and application layer security.  Troy has also worked within Cisco to create security capabilities within a range of products, concentrating on Layer 2 security for Cisco's range of phones and switches.

Troy has been at Cisco for over 14 years starting in Advanced Services, moving to sales and then into the system design team.  Before Cisco, he worked for Sprint PCS as network administrator for the Research and development department.

Vanessa Sulikowski

Vanessa Sulikowski has been working in the Networking industry for the past 20 years, she joined Cisco Systems in 2000 as a Systems Engineer (SE). For over 10 years Vanessa has specialised in designing and implementing Collaboration and Unified Communications. She is now a Unified Communications - Technical Solutions Architect and the Collaboration Technical Lead for the Asia-Pacific Region. She has presented at many Cisco and external events including Cisco Live - Networkers in Europe, Korea as well as Cisco Live - Networkers in Australia, Microsoft TechEd, Wainhouse Summit and QuestNet. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Information Science Honours degree (majoring in Networking) from the University of Newcastle and has achieved Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) Voice.
