Check out the music as you play the Peter Packet game or download the music
to your computer. Does the music sound like it goes with the different parts of the game?
Think about the Internet. If it had a sound, what would it be like? Would there be a rhythm? A beat? Would Internet music be different for messages traveling through wireless space than messages going through cables?
If you play an instrument or like to compose music, create your own "Internet Travels" music. Maybe you'd like to get your friends together to work on an Internet album to present to your class.
If you are not a musician, you can still make up your own Internet music. Ask your music teacher if the school has any rhythm instruments that you and your friends can use for this project. If no rhythm instruments are available, brainstorm ideas for making sounds with your keyboard, spoons, pans, rubber bands, water glasses, whistles, etc. You could make your own Internet symphony, couldn't you?
