Sample Course Simulated Lab
Router Interface Configuration

In addition to multiple choice and fill-in response questions, Cisco Career Certifications exams may include performance simulation exam items. As practice in Cisco router command sequences, this nine-step simulated lab is a sample of the recommended training available through authorized Cisco Learning Partners that helps prepare for Cisco Career Certifications exams. It does not provide the full functionality of an actual Cisco router interface nor does it simulate the open-ended experience that is used in the Cisco certifications exams. In contrast, router simulations in Cisco proctored exams will not show the steps to follow in completing a router interface configuration and will accept partial responses that an actual Cisco router will understand. For example: "Show Config' or 'Sho Config' or 'Sh Conf' would be acceptable. 'Router #show ip protocol' or 'router # show ip prot' would be acceptable. The exam commands must include the correct spacing, spelling and marks (#@!?).

Only authorized Cisco Learning Partners can offer Cisco simulation training to prepare candidates for certification exams properly, including to the current Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) course.
