This publication is for the person responsible for configuring a Cisco Aironet Wireless LAN Adapter, also referred to as a client adapter. This person should be familiar with computing devices and with network terms and concepts.
This publication describes the utilities available for use with the client adapter and provides instructions for using them.
This publication is organized into the following parts based on the host device's operating system. You need to refer only to the part that pertains to your computer's operating system.
This publication uses the following conventions to convey instructions and information:

This document pertains to three types of client adapters:
Throughout this document, client adapter is used to refer to all three types of adapters.
PC card, LM card, and PCI client adapter are used when information applies to a specific client adapter. Workstation is used to refer to a computing device with an installed client adapter.

Other Cisco documentation and additional literature are available in a CD-ROM package shipped separately from the Cisco Aironet Series Wireless LAN Adapters CD that shipped with your product. The CD-ROM package is available as a single package or as an annual subscription.
