The Cisco DOCSIS CPE Configurator enables the user to modify an existing configuration file.
To modify a configuration file, follow this procedure:

Step 1 |
Click the Upload Config button on the lower left side of the browser screen. The Upload Configuration screen appears. |

Click Browse for a list of configuration files. Make sure that you select "All Files (*.*)" in the "Files of type" pull-down menu. |

Select the Configuration file. |

Step 4 |
Specify the ASCII file that contains the parameters entered in the configuration file. |

Step 5 |
Click Upload in the Upload Configuration screen. |

Step 6 |
Verify that the configuration upload was successful by going to the Software Upgrade screen. The TFTP Server IP and Filename fields should be automatically filled in as well as all of the mandatory fields (indicated in red) in each of the appropriate screens. |

Step 7 |
Set up the configuration file. See Create a Configuration File. |

Step 8 |
Click Submit to update the configuration file. |
