  800 Series

801, 802, 803, 804 ISDN/IDSL Routers - use c800- images
805 Serial Router - uses c805- images
806 Broadband Gateway Router - uses c806- images that are available only in the 12.2XE release, which is not covered by Cisco Feature Navigator.

826 and 827 DSL Routers - uses c820- images.
828 G.shdsl Router – uses c828- images that are available only in the 12.2XE release, which is not covered by Cisco Feature Navigator.

  1000 Series
1003, 1004 ISDN Routers - use c1000- images
1005 Serial Router - use c1005- images

  1600 Series
1601, 1602, 1603, 1604 run from Flash Routers - use c1600-<abc>-l - images
1601, 1602, 1603, 1604 and 1605 run from RAM Routers - use c1600-<abc>-mz images

  1700 Series
1720 data only Routers  - use c1700- images that are for data only
1750 data+voice Routers - use any c1700- images, including those that provide voice features.

Note, data+voice images are identified by the presence of a "v" in the image name, eg c1700-k2sv3y-mz. A data+voice image could be loaded onto a 1720 Router, but the voice features will not function.

2501 to 2525 Routers - use c2500- images
2500 FRADs - use c25FX- and c2500-f- images

  MC 3810
MC3810 - uses mc3810- images, not 3800- images (which are for the obsolete 3801, 3803 products)

4500, 4700, 4500-M and 4700-M Routers - use c4500- images

7000 Routers (without RSP) - use c7000- images. For 7000 with RSP, use same images as 7500

7400 Router images are available only in the 12.1DX release, which are not covered by Cisco Feature Navigator

7500 and 7000 (with RSP) Routers - use rsp- images

  7600 OSR Series
The 7600 uses the Multilayer Switch Feature Card (MSFC) for Layer 3 switching.
Multilayer Switch Feature Card-1 MSFC1 - uses c6msfc- images
Multilayer Switch Feature Card-2 MSFC2 - uses c6msfc2- images

  10000 Series
The 10000 and 10700 are not currently displayed in Cisco Feature Navigator, but will use the c10k and c10700 images when available.

  Catalyst 5000
Feature Navigator provides information on the Cisco IOS for Routing cards that can be installed in the Catalyst 5000, but not the CatOS features. For CatOS, see the Compatibility Advisor at:

Feature Navigator provides information on the IOS for Cat6x00 Supervisor and Routing cards that can be installed in the Catalyst 6x00, but not the CatOS features themselves. For CatOS, see the Compatibility Advisor at:
