CCO FTP Troubleshooting Guide
This guide contains troubleshooting information
for FTP transactions with CCO.
The following are general troubleshooting tips:
- If there is heavy network traffic, you might notice a slower action
response time since communication between the FTP client and server
is slowed.
- Make sure you have adequate file permissions and disk space to save
the file you wish to download.

PC/Unix users:
1. Right mouse click on the filename
2. Choose Save Link As.
Macintosh users:
1. Click and hold down the mouse button on the filename.
2. Choose Save Link As.

| Why am I unable to access ftp.cisco.com
using Internet Explorer? |
Internet Explorer does not have passive ftp enabled by default.
If you were attempting to access the ftp area using Internet Explorer,
you can enable passive ftp by doing the following:
1. Click on Tools, then Internet Options
2. Click on the Advanced tab
3. Scroll until you find Use Passive FTP.... Ensure the box
is checked.
4. Restart your browser and attempt to access again.
