The next generation TACACS protocol is called TACACS+. Cisco offers a
developer's kit which implements the TACACS+ protocol as well as binaries
for several platforms. Current versions are available at ftp-eng.cisco.com
in the /pub/tacacs directory via anonymous login.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Both source code and binaries of TACACS+ are unsupported by Cisco's Global Support Services or Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and come without warranty of any kind.
