Notices Portlet

  • What is the Notices portlet and how does it work?
  • Why is the Notices portlet empty?
  • How do I delete the Notices portlet?
  • What is the Notices portlet and how does it work?

The Notices portlet shows the three most recent Security Alerts and Field Notices published by Cisco. By default, three Security Alerts and three Field Notices are shown, sorted by date of publication across all products and technologies. This information comes directly from the Product Alert Tool (PAT).

If you set up profiles in the PAT to receive e-mail notifications about new field notices or product alerts for specific products and technologies, your profile names are populated inside the drop-down menu in the Notices portlet. This drop-down menu allows you to select a profile name and to view the three most recent notices about products, technologies, and software in that profile.

If you are a Partner, the Notices portlet shows the three most recent Partner Field Notices, sorted by date.
