My Action Items Portlet

    What is the My Action Items portlet and how does it work?

    This portlet provides you with a quick summary of the action items derived from the Business Plans portlet. It will display all of the action items that have either been created by you, or assigned to you by others.

    A Cisco Channel Account Manager will work with you to create business plans for certain opportunities. In the My Action Items portlet, you can review a snapshot of the business plans associated with you.

    The action items will be listed in the following format:

    • Title of the action item
    • Status of the action item
    • Due date
    • Assignee
    • Priority

    To see more detail on a specific action item, click on the title of that action item. You will be taken to the Partner Business Planning tool.

    How do I change the filter preferences on the My Action Items portlet?

  • Step 1 Click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the portlet. A screen will display the following selection options:
    • an Action Items I Created checkbox
    • an Action Items I Am Assigned checkbox
    • due date drop-down menu
  • Step 2 Select one or both checkboxes.
  • Step 3 Select All from the due date drop-down menu.
  • Step 4 Click Save. The portlet will display the data based on the selected filter preferences.

    How do I remove the My Action Items portlet?

    1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab. You see the portlets and the layout for your page.
    2. Click the X on the My Action Items portlet.
    3. Click Save. The portlet disappears from your page.

    To add the portlet again:

    1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab.
    2. Click the Add Portlet button. A list of portlets that you can add to your page displays.
