What is the Channel Announcements portlet and how does it work?

Through this personalized service, you can read Cisco channel announcements specific to your company's certifications, specializations, and country. Occasionally, the Cisco Channels organization may need to communicate beneficial information to you or your customers. This information is also displayed on the Channel Announcements portlet.

At this portlet, you will find a summary of the message followed by a link or links to further information. Click on the More link for further information.

If there are more than five announcements, a link entitled Show All will be displayed. Clicking on this link will bring you to additional announcements.

How do I remove the Channel Announcements portlet?

1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab. You see the portlets and the layout for your page.
2. Click the X on the Channel Announcements portlet.
3. Click Save. The portlet disappears from your page.

To add the portlet again:

1. Click the Edit icon on the active page tab.
2. Click the Add Portlet button. A list of portlets that you can add to your page displays.
