The SSL VPN (WebVPN) features in v7.0.x were included as a free trial as mentioned in product documentation and the SSL user interface within Cisco ASDM. Starting with v7.1, use of SSL VPN features will require the purchase and installation of a separate SSL VPN feature license. Cisco ASA Software v7.1 introduces significantly enhanced SSL VPN capabilities and scale to meet the needs of complex clientless environments.
ASA Release Notes
ASA Interim Releases From ASA 7.1, SSL VPN Client (SVC) and Cisco Secure Desktop (CSD) will be supported by ASA. Please note SVC version 1.1.0.154 or higher and CSD version 3.1.1.16 or higher should be used in conjunction with ASA. The Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client, Cisco SSL VPN Client and Cisco Secure Desktop products are available on their own product download pages.

Cisco SSL VPN Client for use with ASA 7.1 & 7.2
Cisco Secure Desktop Due to a manufacturing component change, minimum ASA software version 7.0.5 or 7.1.2 must be used for ASA units manufactured after 4/5/2006 with serial number greater than JAB101400TP. Please refer to Field Notice 62378 for more details.
