When and where will the Academy Conference be held?

The Academy Conference will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, June 22 - Tuesday, June 24, 2003.

Who should attend the Academy Conference in Orlando?

Required attendance at the Academy Conference: North American CATC Instructors and at least one Instructor from each North American Regional Academy. All CATCs will be contacted individually for details on a one-day CATC training.

Recommended attendance at the Academy Conference: All North American Academy Instructors and Main Contacts, International CATCs are encouraged to attend.

Would I still be able to go to Networkers in Orlando (June 23 - 26) or Los Angeles, CA (July 7 - 10)?

Yes, even if you sign up for the Academy Conference, you will still have the option of attending either Networkers location at the Education/Government registration rate. Registration for the Academy Conference will not grant admission to Networkers.

Will I receive a discount for attending Networkers?

Because the Academy Conference will be held separately from Networkers, you will not receive a discount for attending Networkers.

How is the Academy Conference different from Networkers?

The Academy Conference will be geared towards Academy specific needs. You will receive a variety of Academy breakout sessions along with specific technical sessions to choose from. This conference will still bring many Networkers elements to you, such as Breakout Sessions, General Sessions and special customer events - however, at a more specialized level and lower cost.

What are the benefits of attending the Academy Conference?

You will receive valuable information and updates on the Academy program, including where the program is heading. You will also have the opportunity to meet with your Academy peers, Cisco Worldwide Education staff and key Academy partners.

When can I register for the Academy Conference?

You will need to register separately for the Academy Conference and for Networkers. Registration for the Academy Conference begins in April. Please look for an announcement on Academy Connection once the registration site is launched.
