This event is the official launch of Networkers 2003, and a great opportunity to meet with Cisco and Cisco partners, and to network with peers at the start of the conference. You can take a tour of the AVVID Express or take part in the Cisco Challenge and compete for fabulous prizes as you test your networking skills on your own or as a team.

You will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the minds behind the books at the Cisco Press Author book signing - one of the most popular events last year.

Birds of a Feather sessions are back! Get together with other networking professionals for informal, roundtable discussions on specific topics, such as Multicast Deployment, Mobility in Networking, and Security, at Birds of a Feather discussion groups. Or Meet the Experts in the World of Solutions, where you can talk with Cisco engineers one-on-one or in small groups to share experiences, brainstorm ideas, or get the answers you need for your network.

Customer Appreciation Event

Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure Theme Park

Prepare for the thrill of a lifetime as the event begins at CityWalk and takes over Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure Theme Park. Go wild as you immerse yourself in popular culture's most enjoyable fantasies and exhilarating rides.

Universal Studios CityWalk is an endless celebration of sight, sound and taste. This soul-stirring, dazzling array of nightclubs inspired by popular culture's most legendary innovators and originators will get the party rollin'. Its outdoor stages and common areas will be the setting for live concerts, street performers, and a variety of other fun and unique activities with a Mardi Gras style celebration in the heart of CityWalk! Networkers guests will be welcomed by an eight piece Mardi Gras marching jazz band while sampling some traditional New Orleans style food before entering the Universal Studios Island of Adventure Theme Park at 9:30pm.

Thursday 7:30 pm - 12:30 am, Networkers Los Angeles
Disney's California Adventure

Disney's California Adventure welcomes Networkers 2003 to celebrate the fun and adventure of California. Networkers guests can explore favorite places and enjoy special experiences that are unique to California, including thrilling attractions and exciting live entertainment. Upon entering the Park underneath a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge guests are immediately transformed to a "California" within California. The party will begin at the exclusive "closed set" of Hollywood Pictures Backlot where reality blends with illusion.

At 9:15 pm, the Networkers guests will be invited to experience Disney's Electrical Parade with its dazzling lights, enchanting music and playful characters as the day guests exit the Park and California Adventure is transformed for the exclusive use of the Cisco Systems Networkers guests to play and have some more fun in the ultimate beachfront amusement zone - Paradise Pier!

Networkers guests will enjoy the magic of the old-time boardwalk with the innovation of today!
