With over 100 Cisco partners, representing 9 Cisco Partner Groups, the World of Solutions is your opportunity to explore the numerous possibilities and opportunities to grow your business.
In addition, the World of Solutions offers:
- The New Cisco Challenge - Drop by and configure live Cisco equipment, locate Cisco TAC URL's, and take a simulated test. Compete for fabulous prizes! Work as a team or on your own! The challenges will involve basic Routing, Security and IP Telephony solutions. This is your opportunity to test your networking knowledge, skills, and 'cool' under pressure.
- Partner Solutions Theater - Highlighting key Cisco/partner joint solutions, the Partner Solutions Theater offers the latest joint solutions, which increase company productive in today's e-business economy. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Cisco and Cisco partner developers and engineers. Presentations will run daily, every 20 minutes, with a chance to win a Cisco Aironet Wireless card after each presentation.
- Security Tech Trek - Two hours of product-focused live presentations and interactive demonstrations will bring the following technologies to life:
Cisco Easy VPN: Designed to facilitate the coordination between network administrators to configure router VPN parameters, Cisco Easy VPN and Cisco Unity Client protocol can establish a VPN connection between the Cisco VPN remote access server and VPN client with minimal configuration on the client side.
SAFE Blueprint and Secure Wireless: Defines which security solutions should be deployed throughout a network via uniquely designed "modules" that simplify security design, roll out, and management. How to use the SAFE Blueprint to design and implement secure wireless networks are also discussed.
VPN and Security Management Solution (VMS): Combines Web-based applications for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise virtual private networks (VPNs), firewall security, and network and host-based intrusion detection systems (IDSs).
New Cisco IDS Solutions: Provide high-speed, gigabit intrusion protection in high bandwidth environments via advanced protection algorithms to stop known and unknown threats, as well as new integrated, Web-based management for rapid deployment and easy customization.
- Cisco's Network Operations Center - View real-time operational status of the Networkers network infrastructure featuring the Cisco Catalyst 6509 network core router and switch with Dot1Q trunking protocol. The Cisco Partner Network Operation Center is the centralized area for managing and troubleshooting the AVVID Network infrastructure for Cisco Partners. Every Cisco Partner receives IP telephony services and Internet connectivity though a single converged Network that can handle voice, video and data traffic simultaneously. Watch demonstrations of the latest end-to-end solutions, fail over capabilities and security monitoring/intrusion detection solutions.
- The AVVID Express - Step inside the Cisco eighteen-wheel AVVID truck to view Cisco 7960 IP phone service deployed throughout Networkers, plus the latest Security & VPN, Storage Networks, Optical Solutions and Network & Service Management equipment and solutions. Having already traveled to more than 150 cities in North America, the Cisco AVVID Express is completely updated with all new solutions and product demonstrations.
- Meet Cisco Press Authors - Providing face-to-face interaction with the minds behind the books, Cisco Press authors are located throughout the World of Solutions and are available to answer your questions, discuss the newest networking technologies, and sign copies of their books.
- Internet Stations (sponsored by IBM) - where you can update your personalized session schedule, review the Networkers Schedule of Events, post a message to the Electronic Message Board and complete the overall Networkers evaluation
- Wireless Access - Experience the latest Cisco WLAN technologies including the Cisco Building Broadband Services Manager (BBSM) server, enabling you to VPN into your home or office network from any one of the Wireless Lounges throughout Networkers.
