NETWORKERS SECURING YOUR ENTERPRISE NETWORK POWER SESSION

PS-550 - Securing Your Enterprise Network Power Session
SOLD OUT on Monday, July 8 (Networkers Orlando)

This session will focus upon the design and incorporation of technologies geared to support Enterprise organizations' security policies. The reinforcement of subject matter will be enhanced with the introduction of a feature-rich virtual network. This virtual network will include standard network devices with support for applications such as voice and wireless. This comprehensive session will provide an overview of known risks and potential threats followed by a progressive approach to designing secure Enterprise networks.

The instructor will work through the virtual network examining each area that may be attacked, identifying and correcting network vulnerabilities. This session is primarily for network managers and network design engineers involved in integrating security technologies into corporate networks.

Other topics that will be covered:
  • Introductory overview of security technologies and practical methodologies for effective incorporation into network designs.
  • Securing the main corporate Internet access, and securely connecting remote branches, remote employees access, and partner access.
  • Security technologies examined include authentication and access controls, IP Security (IPSec) Virtual Private Networks (VPN), firewall implementations and intrusion detection systems.
