NETWORKERS CATALYST ARCHITECTURE AND TROUBLESHOOTING POWER SESSION

PS-544 - Catalyst Architecture and Troubleshooting Power Session
SOLD OUT on Monday, June 24 (Networkers San Diego)

This power session will thoroughly examine the architecture of the Catalyst 2950, 3550, 4000, and 6500 product lines and introduce troubleshooting methodologies for resolving network issues. Attendees of this are introduced to the fundamentals of switch architecture with specific examples covering the Catalyst product line. Architecture topics will include switch fabrics and buffering implementations for both the fixed configuration and modular Catalyst switches. With the introduction of switched networks fault isolation becomes more complex so this session will introduce troubleshooting techniques for diagnosing issues with products operating with the Cisco IOS software.

Other topics that will be covered:
  • Switch forwarding architectures
  • Switch packet flow architecture
  • Troubleshooting best practices
As Power Session capacities are limited, register early. If you have previously registered for Networkers 2002 and would now like to add a Power Session, please contact Networkers Customer Service or 800.797.7739.
