These all-day tutorials on key networking issues proved so popular at Networkers 2000 and Networkers 2001, that the program continues at Networkers 2002. Power Sessions examine specific technologies and applications: how they apply to network design and how they can be deployed in relation to each other.
These sessions are perfect for those looking to experience a full curriculum on a single topic in one sitting. Many of these sessions have no prerequisites. Building on an explanation of the technology or application, each session also discusses design principles based on case studies and best practices, advanced concepts and future technology. Power Sessions are designed to complement and correspond to individual Technology Breakout Sessions available throughout Networkers 2002; some portions of the material covered in Power Sessions may also be introduced or referenced in Technology Breakout Sessions.
Power Sessions, at an additional cost of US$450 each, are available Monday and Friday. Enrollment is limited, ensuring that the sessions are interactive and allow for in-depth Q & A. Eleven Power Session topics will be offered on both days, providing the opportunity to take one Power Session on Monday and another on Friday.
