Both seasoned professionals and industry newcomers will find sessions at the appropriate level. Technology Breakout Sessions are offered in the following levels:

    Level 1 (L1) Introductory Sessions
Level 2 (L2) Deployment and Configuration Recommendations
Level 3 (L3) Troubleshooting and Situation Analysis
Level 4 (L4) Advanced Concepts and Technology Developments

    Level 1 (L1) Introductory Sessions
New to networking or exploring a new technology area/technical subject? L1 Introductory Sessions have no prerequisites and are designed for those with no previous experience nor exposure to the subject. These sessions provide a basic understanding of the technology and its uses, and provide the groundwork needed to progress to a Level 2 session in the same technology.

Level 2 (L2) Deployment and Configuration Recommendations
L2 sessions explore the best ways to deploy a given technology or technical feature in the network. To get the most out of these sessions, some experience with or exposure to the subject is recommended. Discussion will include case studies, detailed configuration options and recommendations, with the end result being confidence to successfully deploy the technologies in your own network.

Level 3 (L3) Troubleshooting and Situation Analysis
L3 sessions focus upon detailed troubleshooting and analysis, with an in-depth look at how features and technologies are implemented and how their behavior can be characterized and analyzed. Implementation of various debugging tools, and the steps necessary to rectify networking issues, will be included.

Level 4 (L4) Advanced Concepts and Technology Developments
L4 sessions, designed for those who are very familiar with and experienced in a given technology, delve deeper into the technical and theoretical details of a specific subject or technology. Delivered by industry experts, these sessions examine technologies available today, and offer a preview of the technologies being developed for the future.

Technology Breakout Sessions are divided by Major Technology and Technology Focus:
