| This course provides an overview of network issues relating to mergers and acquisitions. We will cover topologies, routing protocols, name and address spaces, e-mail, security, voice and carrier issues, network management, and QoS policies. In each area, we discuss issues that are likely to present themselves as two companies combine into a single entity. Several case studies are presented. The session will provide a framework that will allow an attendee to apply appropriate design principles to this type of requirement. |
