| This session analyzes the requirements of an organization based around a perhaps large number of remote or regional branches connecting to a central data center. The session examines wide area technologies appropriate for various scenarios as well as how to ensure reliability and scalability. Issues such as routing protocol choices, security, and Internet/extranet connectivity will be explored in depth. We’ll consdier interconnecting remote sites to data center sites for server and mainframe access based on application access as well as server-to-server backup requirements. |
