RODERICK C. McGEARY Roderick C. McGeary, 48, is a vice chairman of KPMG LLP, and is Co-Chief Executive Officer of its Consulting practice. Consulting is a $1.9 billion practice in the U.S., providing e-strategy and e-process, e-integration, and e-outsourcing support to six industries: Financial Services; Public Sector; Content and Communications; High Technology; Consumer and Industrial Markets; and, Health Care. In addition to its selective services, Consulting offers five End to End Solutions: Customer Management, Supply Chain Management, Knowledge Management, World Class Finance and World Class Human Resources. Mr. McGeary has held this position for the past three years, during which the U.S. Consulting practice has grown from a $600 million to a $1.9 billion enterprise. He is responsible for Consulting's strategic alliances with Cisco and Microsoft. Mr. McGeary oversees development and implementation of all solutions provided to customers by KPMG Consulting, including all Internet-based, e.Engineering offerings of the firm. His oversight also includes solution marketing, training, methodology, recruiting, sales and alliances. He is based in the firm's Mountain View, CA, office. Mr. McGeary joined KPMG in 1972 as an audit professional in the Philadelphia office. In 1982, he opened the firm's office in Radnor, PA, which has become one of KPMG's largest consulting offices. In 1986, he opened the firm's Silicon Valley Office, now the firm's largest consulting office. He was subsequently the CEO of Exis, a joint venture between Apple Computer and KPMG. With more than 25 years of experience in consulting, Mr. McGeary has managed large system integration projects in conjunction with enterprise package implementations. He has served as the engagement partner for Cisco Systems, Apple Computer, Octel Communications, Synopsys and Siemens Components. Mr. McGeary received his bachelor of science degree from Lehigh University in 1972. He is a Certified Public Accountant. |
