Please enter the license version for the product. The license version should have been displayed at the end of the installation process. If you do not have the version available, it may be recovered by doing the following:
cd to the netsys/bin directory and enter the command ./version -licenseversion
Entering the wrong version will prevent the license from working.
Note: The version is displayed at the end of the installation. If you have a version other than those on the list please visit the Netsys Y2K page. Cisco must decline to license non Y2K compliant products.
Hostname and HostID are required to receive an evaluation license.
Note: The hostname may be obtained by entering the command hostname at the system prompt. The hostID is NOT the IP address; it is a hexidecimal string that identifies the system. On a Sun platform enter the command hostID at the command prompt. For the AIX and HP platforms, install the software, then cd to the Netsys directory and source cshrc.ctk if you are using /bin/csh for a shell. For /bin/sh or /bin/ksh shells use the command . ./profile.ctk. After setting the environment variables, enter the command lmhostid.
