Acts as an adjunct to Cisco CallManager.

In Tandem Signaling and Toll Bypass application, the Cisco EGW acts as Tandem PBX

Cisco Media Convergence Server (MCS) 7825, 7835, or 7845. Refer to Release Notes for Cisco EGW 2200 1.1(2) for hardware specifics.

Gatekeeper (Optional)

IP PBX
Optional gatekeeper between Cisco CallManager and Cisco EGW. The gatekeeper identifies the IP address to use for each call. Alternatively, you can use direct mode. Cisco 2600XM, 3620, 3640, 3660, 3725, 3745, 7200, 7301, 7400 IOS 12.3(4)T or higher

End User Phones
XML-based IP phones are required for the Call Back feature to work.
