As a part of software installation, the system installer configures the system BIOS and RAID settings for the new operating system and Cisco Unified Communication Manager application. See Table 3 for the BIOS settings and Table 4 for the RAID settings that are set up during installation.
Note
If the hardware configuration process fails during installation, you can use boot-time utilities on both the IBM and HP servers to manually configure the RAID and BIOS settings, as shown in Table 3 and Table 4.
