Techtorials (formerly called 'Power Sessions') offer start-to-finish,
full day tutorials on specific technologies. They are appropriate for anyone
interested in a comprehensive look at one topic in-depth.
There are 13 Techtorials to choose from, each one offering an ideal opportunity
to experience a full curriculum on a single topic in one sitting. Some of these
sessions do require some familiarity with the equipment and/or technology; please
refer to the session specific abstract for more details. Building on an explanation
of the technology or application, each session also discusses design principles
based on case studies and best practices, advanced concepts, and future technology.
Techtorials are designed to complement the individual Breakout Sessions available
throughout Networkers 2004.
Techtorials are offered on Monday, December 13 from 09.30 to 18.30, at an additional cost of €495. Note that you will only be able to attend a Techtorial if you're attending Networkers as well. Enrolment is limited, ensuring that the sessions are interactive and allow for in-depth Q & A.
