Do I need insurance?

How do I book my hotel?
We will be reserving rooms in selected hotels in Cannes at preferential rates for our delegates, more information will be available once registration goes live end of September 2006.
You will be responsible for making your own hotel arrangements. Please note that rooms are at a premium in Cannes, and the rooms we have reserved will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Therefore the sooner you book post registration the better.

How do I get to the Palais des Festivals or to my hotel from Nice airport?
Upon arrival in Nice, delegates must make their own way to their accommodation or to the Palais.
By taxi: Taxis can be taken from the airport. The approximate fare is EUR 65. They are available 24 hours (tel: (0)4 9313 7878) to all destinations. Stands are located outside the Arrivals levels of both terminals.
By rail: SNCF regional train services (tel: (0)8 9235 3535; website: (www.ter.sncf.fr) run from Gare Nice St Augustin, situated 500 metres (600 yards) from Terminal 1, and Gare St Laurent du Var, 3km (2 miles) from the airport, serving all routes from Cannes to Vintimille. Bus nos.200, 1A and 1B connect to these stations. All other SNCF routes run from the central station in Nice, connected to the airport by bus no.99 (SNCF Direct) from Terminal 2 and route 23 from Terminal 1.
