1. Cisco Calling! Campaign Overview
Objective
The objective of the Cisco Calling! Campaign (“Campaign”) is to create awareness of Cisco’s market positioning, products and solutions in the below mentioned channel communities and countries.
The campaign will run from October 20th to December 10th 2004.
Eligibility
The Cisco Calling! campaign is open to Cisco Distribution Partners, Cisco Registered Resellers (indirect purchase) as well as Cisco Direct Marketing Resellers registered in Cisco Systems Partner Database as at October 7th 2004. See also general terms & Conditions.

Campaign Structure
The Campaign will consist of a number of outbound calls placed into the participating partners’ designated sales contact(s) (“Participants”), where permitted by law, as well as a website enabling Participants who have not yet been called the chance to take part.
The calls and the website will consist of a series of questions on Cisco’s market positioning, products and solutions. Participants who answer 80% or more of the questions correctly will participate in a prize draw for a VW Golf as well as other prizes.
The interviewer will record the answers to each question asked and notify the Participant of their result before ending the call. These results will then be stored for the prize draw.
Participants who do not succeed in answering 80% of the questions correctly will be entered into a secondary prize draw for Cisco Learning Credits.
Campaign Administration
The Cisco Calling Campaign is administered by Ogilvy and PriceDirect on behalf of Cisco Systems.
2. Prize Draw Rules
Top Prize Draw
- The prize draw for the top prize will take place on 14/12/04 and in the presence of an independent supervisor.
- Results will be published at http://www.cisco.com/go/ciscocalling no later than 21/12/04
- A full list of prize winners will be published on the Cisco website.
- No alternatives to the prizes will be offered, with the exception of the car, for which a cash alternative is provided of $15,000 (or Cisco equivalent in local currency on the date of notification of winner) where permitted by local law.
- Participants must be over 18 years of age. In respect of the car, it is the winner’s responsibility to arrange appropriate taxation, insurance and licensing to operate the vehicle. Cisco does not provide for the operating expenses of the vehicle or the equipment within it as part of the prize. Cisco accepts no responsibility for direct or third party consequential damage or material loss as a result of acceptance of the prize.
- The specification of the car will be determined by Cisco. As specification of the vehicle will vary by market, the precise specification will be informed to the winner as part of winner notification. Correspondence on the specification of the vehicle will not be entered into.
Draws for Other Prizes
- The other prizes will be drawn on a weekly basis, on the Monday of each week with winners notified no later than the Tuesday of each week. The prizes in total will consist of 20 mini ipods, 2 Home Cinemas, 4 DVD Players and 20 digital cameras. In addition to this, for the week commencing November 22nd 2004 there will be a special prize of $10,000 worth of Cisco Learning Credits. The winner will be picked on November 29th 2004.
- For Participants who are not eligible for the main prize draw, in addition 200x $500 value Cisco Learning Credits will be available through a weekly draw to be redeemed with Cisco authorised Learning partners against Cisco authorised Training. The vouchers are non exchangeable/refundable.
- Participants will be eligible to participate only once in the weekly prize draw for the week during which they were interviewed.
- All winners will be notified by e-mail.
- All prizes will be dispatched as quickly as practicable and should be received within an 8-10 week period following the draw. However Cisco is not liable for late/delayed, damaged or lost shipment. Cisco is not liable for any costs incurred as a result of collection of prizes.
General
- Winners may be required to participate in publicity. By participating in this Campaign, prize winners authorise Cisco to publish for PR purposes, photographs and personal information/identification of winners without further remuneration
- All prize winners are responsible for the payment of any and all taxes, duty, national insurance and/or licenses and or other fees that may apply to such prizes or winnings. Prizes do not have to be accepted.
- The Campaign is open to sales persons designated by the following companies as responsible for Cisco products:
- Cisco Distribution Partners – as defined in Section 3 (Terminology)
Cisco Registered Resellers (indirect purchase) - as defined in Section 3 (Terminology)
Cisco Direct Marketing Resellers – as defined in Section 3 (Terminology) and as registered in the Cisco Systems Partner Database as at October 7th 2004.
- The Campaign is not open to employees of Cisco Systems or employees of vendors or subsidiary companies or anyone professionally involved in the administration of this Campaign.
- Only one entry per person is permitted and Participants must be over 18 years of age.
- Cisco reserves the right to add, modify, change, improve, or discontinue any condition of this Campaign without notice. In the event of termination of the Campaign prizes will only be awarded to Participants already entered into the Campaign prior to termination.
- The Campaign will not affect the purchase price from Cisco of any product or services or inventory valuation.
- Where permitted by law, Cisco reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal value, should the original prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control.
- By participating in this Campaign you accept the terms outlined above, confirm that you have obtained your employer’s consent to participate and consent to Cisco using your personal data for the purpose of the Campaign and in accordance with its privacy policy which can be found at [http://www.cisco.com/en/US/swassets/sw293/privacy_statement.html#information_sharing].
- Cisco’s decision regarding the allocation of prizes is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Cisco shall comply with applicable law in each country in which the Campaign is operated.
- These Conditions will be mailed, free of charge, to any Participant who sends a written request for them.
3. Terminology
For the purposes of this Campaign document, the terms listed below shall have the following meaning, whether capitalised or not:
“Cisco Distribution Partner or CDP” means a distributor authorised by Cisco to distribute Products and Services within EMEA in accordance with the direct non-exclusive Cisco Distribution Partner agreement between Cisco and such CDP;
“Cisco Registered Reseller” means a reseller authorised to sell, support and install the Products and Services within EMEA in accordance with the terms of the Indirect Channel Partner Agreement and/or the Cisco Distribution Partner or Distributor’s agreement with Cisco (including, without limitation, Cisco’s then current guidelines relating to the appointment of and agreement with any such Cisco authorised Channel);
“Cisco Direct Marketing Reseller” means a Cisco Reseller authorised to sell under the Direct Marketing Reseller contract, purchasing from Distributors, selling to end user customers through web, mail/catalogue and telephone.
“Cisco” shall refer to Cisco Systems International BV, which is the promoter of this Campaign, Gebouw Building, Haarlerbergweg 13-19, 1101 CH Amsterdam, Nederland and part of the Cisco Systems group of companies.
“Cisco Learning Credits” are a purchase method for authorised Cisco training with Cisco Learning Solutions Partners and Cisco Learning Partners, fee based training on the Partner E-Learning Connection and for subscriptions to the Cisco Learning Connection. Each Learning Credit is worth the equivalent of USD$100 and is valid for one year from date of purchase. Cisco Learning Credits are listed on the Cisco global, wholesale and services price lists.
“Cisco authorised Learning Partners” along with their Sponsored Organizations, the Partner E-Learning Connection and the Cisco Learning Connection, are the only authorised commercial source for Cisco training. They are authorised to sell Cisco training in accordance with the terms of the Cisco Learning Solutions Partner and Cisco Learning Partner Agreements with Cisco.
“Cisco authorised Training” is defined as training that is authorised by Cisco and provided solely by the following organizations: Cisco Systems, Cisco Learning Solutions Partners, Cisco Learning Partners, Sponsored Organizations and Cisco Networking Academies
