Cisco are recruiting talented technical graduates with a strong motivation to learn about networking technologies to work as high-level Customer Support Engineers in Belgium or the UK.

There are 4 Technical Assistance Centers (TAC) for Cisco World Wide partners and customers. In Europe the TAC Centers are based in Brussels (Belgium) and Reading (UK) and our major goal is to solve complex problems in the best way possible to ensure that Cisco customers are always highly satisfied.

 

Job Description

 

As a Customer Support Engineer your main responsibility will be to provide technical support for Ciscos products to customers and partners via the telephone and/or through e-mail and based in one of our TAC Centers in either Brussels or Reading.

 

Your responsibilities will include: -

 

  • Receiving and resolving complex issues and meeting customer needs
  • Working with other people to solve problems and enhance future products
  • Using debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions
  • Keeping up-to-date with new technology products in order to provide support as soon as they are launched in the market

 

As a Customer Support Engineer you will:-

 

  • Continually learn about in-depth networking issues – and strive to achieve CCIE status [Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert]
  • Be aware of the most recent products and technologies even before they are in the market
  • Be a technical expert in one or more technologies
  • Be part of the worldwide leading company in networking with centers throughout the globe
  • Be part of a strong team
  • Work with customers from around the world

  • Cisco provides a 1.5 month intensive learning and development program at Cisco TAC office in Brussels
  • Upon completion, you will be integrated into the TAC team to develop your skills and become a Customer Support Engineer
  • Qualifications: Customer Support Engineers are requested to undertake continuous training and qualify as a CCIE [Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert]
