TL1 Agent (1.4) - ONS 15800 Rel 1.6/ONS 15801 Rel 1.4 (SPARE) |
Problem Description
The latest sustaining TL1 agent file, TL1-1.4.4-CORR-1.2.0.exe, creates an incorrect directory structure. Files are not missing but, since the Cisco Photonics ToolKit (CPTK) expects to find them in a different location, some features do not work.
The current directory structure is (assuming C:\CPTK\ is the folder where CPTK has been installed):
C:\CPTK\TL1-1.4.4-CORR-1.2.0\Alarm_Correlation C:\CPTK\TL1-1.4.4-CORR-1.2.0\TL1 Agent
while it should be:
C:\CPTK\Alarm_Correlation C:\CPTK\TL1 Agent
Background
The problem occurs because the archive file TL1-1.4.4-CORR-1.2.0.exe has been incorrectly prepared. It decompresses the files into an unnecessary nested directory level.
Problem Symptoms
Release Upgrade and Release Info features do not work.
Workaround/Solution
The solution is to move the folders Alarm_Correlation and TL1 Agent from C:\CPTK\TL1-1.4.4-CORR-1.2.0\ to the upper directory level C:\CPTK\ by dragging them and dropping them into the appropriate position.
