Problem Description
The MICA portware version 2.2.5.0 can cause the MICA modems to go into a state where they will not recover from errors without reflashing the modems or reloading the access server.
Problem Symptoms
Several DDTS's have been logged against the software including:
CSCdj91951, CSCdj87845, and CSCdj93210.
Workaround/Solution
A fix for this problem is planned for the next scheduled release 2.3.1.0. Until this version is available, Cisco recommends continued usage of the 2.2.3.0 version.
Verification of Code Version
Performing the command, show modem version will provide the version of portware running on the MICA modems.
