Introduction

The customer dial-in lab in San Jose, USA is available to test the performance of your client modem and aid in troubleshooting. It consists of an AS5300 and an AS5350.

  • The AS5300 contains 24 Microcom and 24 MICA modems. This AS5300 is runs Cisco IOS® Software Version 12.2(2)XB6.

  • The AS5350 contains 36 NextPort modems. This AS5350 is running Cisco IOS Software Version 12.2(2)XB8.

Users have privilege level 0, which includes a subset of commands that allow you to look at ISDN, modem, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), and Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) debugs, as well as all the modem management information. It supports PPP, Serial Line Internet Protocol (SLIP), and AppleTalk Remote Access Protocol (ARAP) for Layer 2 protocols. For Layer 3 protocols, it supports IP, Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX), Appletalk, and NetBIOS.
