Joel W. King is a Technical Leader in the Enterprise System Engineering group at Cisco, responsible for the IP video surveillance component of the medianet solution. King joined Cisco as a network consulting engineer dedicated to routing protocol design for large enterprise customer networks. He is the author of a series of Cisco Validated Design guides specific to MAN/WAN topics such as QoS enabled IPsec VPNs (V3PN), Teleworker, and Performance Routing. He has developed and presented sessions at Networkers for seven years. Previously King has served as an instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College and was a technical architect at AMP Incorporated in its Global Information Technology division. King holds CCIE certification 1846. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Temple University.
